This month saw another promotion at O’Donnell Solicitors. Julian West, who has been at the firm for four years, stepped up to become Head of Residential Property. As a chartered legal executive, Julian has enjoyed a highly successful career to date, gaining decades of experience in the industry across a number of firms in the North.
Julian joined O’Donnell Solicitors in 2020, initially working as a residential conveyancing fee earner. His talent was quickly recognised, and he then progressed last year to assist James O’Donnell in the commercial property department, where he expanded his knowledge and network, handling several complex cases. Julian has acted for some notable celebrity clients, frequently accepting instructions on high-value transactions from existing and former clients.
Julian will be based out of the firm’s office on Uppermill High Street, where he will head up the full team of residential property fee earners alongside the firm’s busy post-completions team. Having established long-lasting contacts, Julian will continue to represent clients in commercial property transactional work.
James O’Donnell, Head of Commercial, commented:

Julian, who lives locally with his family, has long-standing local connections and knowledge of the surrounding area. He is involved in several local sports teams, and his excellent nature with clients and contacts is frequently recognised by client testimonials.
