Suzzanne has this week commenced her Training Contract with O’Donnell Solicitors, which is a compulsory period of recognised training for all future Solicitors. The period of recognised training allows trainees to understand the practical implications of the law as well as developing other skills such as drafting, negotiation, commercial and financial awareness, advocacy and client care skills. On completion of the training, trainees are ready to enter the profession as a Solicitor.
The period of recognised training lasts for two years, and during this period Suzzanne will have to keep a record of what she has learnt. All of her work will be over-seen by the Directors and Solicitors at O’Donnell Solicitors, ensuring that she is able to provide the best legal advice and services to our clients.
Suzzanne has been with the firm since February 2016 and has been working with us full time as a Paralegal since June 2016. After studying Law and Criminology at Salford University she completed her Legal Practice course at the University of Law in Manchester earlier this year. Suzzanne has already began to build relationships with clients and local businesses during her time with us and is looking forward to continuing to do this.
Suzzanne says, ‘I am looking forward to learning as much as possible over these next two years and am very happy to be doing so whilst serving my local community’.
O’Donnell Solicitors looks forward to delivering the very best training to Suzzanne over the next two years and are happy to have attracted such talent to the firm.
