O’ Donnell Solicitors has brought a year of growth to a close with two new appointments. Giselle Williams, who has over 25 years’ experience as a commercial litigation solicitor, joined the firm as head of Dispute Resolution in December. Giselle will deal with a broad mix of professional negligence, breach of contract, debt recovery, shareholder disputes, property litigation and contract disputes.
Director James O’Donnell commented:
“Giselle is an exciting appointment for the profession, Giselle has a formidable reputation for her work in handling high value Litigation and Dispute Resolution cases.
“Giselle fits the ethos of our firm and is an excellent straight-talking communicator, strategist and negotiator. Her appointment will facilitate the continued organic growth and future expansion of the firm offering the highest level of advice to individuals and businesses. She comes with an enviable following and substantial experience of handling the most complex of disputes”.
We have also recently recruited Dave Pratt, who joined the firm’s busy residential conveyancing department as a post completions expert to handle the post completion stamping and registration formalities of land transactions at HMRC and HM Land Registry. Dave has in the past worked as a HM Land Registry officer.
These two latest appointments round up what has been a busy year for O’Donnell Solicitors. In November we expanded our footprint at our offices in Grasscroft, taking an additional 2000 sq ft. The growth comes on the back of two national award shortlistings in 2019 – Small Conveyancing Firm of the Year at the LFS Conveyancing Awards and Small Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards.
With a further exciting appointment to be announced early in the New Year, it’s onwards and upwards as we head towards 2020!
