In the first instance, seeking proactive advice helps to ensure your business adheres to the relevant laws and regulations. O’Donnell Solicitors are able to provide straight-talking legal advice, seeing that you have the necessary documentation in place to provide protection and ensuring that you are aware of any relevant changes in the law which may affect your business.
Should a situation with an employee arise, it is important to establish the root of the issue at an early stage in order to ensure that the most cost-effective advice can be provided from the outset.
It is now imperative that a potential claimant notifies ACAS at an early stage of a potential dispute under the Early Conciliation process. Unless this is undertaken, a claim cannot be brought before the Employment Tribunal. There may be circumstances where the Employer elects to notify ACAS of a pending claim.
