We are pleased to say that whilst the commercial world is currently navigating through uncharted waters, the Commercial and Corporate Department at O’Donnell Solicitors has started 2021 with gusto!
Within the first week of January, the team completed three multi-million-pound Joint Venture acquisitions, working within strict timelines – despite COVID and Christmas throwing a few curve-balls! We were able to achieve these target completion dates by working collaboratively with teams at Farleys Solicitors LLP, Knights LLP, SA Law and Napthens LLP. As we continue on through January we continue at pace, working on a number of exciting and large-scale transactions which we are steering towards target completion dates of the end of the month and February.
In addition, we are seeing and advising on a number of group company reorganisations, assisting our clients on how to best take commercial advantage in these unusual times, and arranging their corporate and financial affairs accordingly.
The team continues to act on a high level of commercial property deals, welcoming some exciting new clients alongside some familiar faces. Three notable deals are due to complete through January with further transactions due to kick off on the back of the corporate completions.
We look forward to the next stage of the firm’s organic growth as we push forward into 2021, with further expansion in our commercial team with the appointment of a new Commercial Property Lawyer early this year. Further news on that to follow.
