Usually, this will involve the parent who does not have most of the day-to-day care of the children making regular payments to the other parent – known as Child Maintenance. It may be that you are not receiving the correct financial support for your children from your former partner, or that Child Maintenance Payments have stopped.

Alternatively, you might think you are paying too much child maintenance or have received an incorrect assessment from the Child Maintenance Service.
