We are delighted to announce that O’Donnell Solicitors has chosen Reuben’s Retreat as our Charity for 2024. Reubens Retreat is a truly remarkable organisation that provides vital support to families affected by childhood illness.
As a firm, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact in the local and regional community. We are particularly drawn to Reuben’s Retreat for several reasons. First and foremost, our own Post Completions Manager, Gaynor Turner, has a personal connection to the charity. Her Grandson has benefitted and continues to benefit from the care and support offered by Reuben’s Retreat. This has provided a deepened insight to the wonderful work they do working with the children and their families.
Reuben’s Retreat is located in Glossop, just a few miles away from our head office. This proximity allows us to actively support and engage with the charity throughout the year. Our team will be involved in various fundraising events, volunteering opportunities, and awareness campaigns to help raise awareness and funds for this incredible cause.
Reuben’s Retreat provides a range of support services to families affected by childhood illness. From accommodation and respite care to therapeutic programmes and emotional support. The charity offers a helping hand during what can be an incredibly challenging time. Their commitment to providing respite, friendship, and hope is truly commendable.
The workforce at O’Donnell Solicitors including the Directors have children of their own. To be able to assist the charity this year is a real pleasure and we can’t wait to work with our charity committee to see what we can do to support Ruebens Retreat throughout the year.
