O’Donnell Solicitors is proud to announce that following expansion, in August 2017 the firms Head office is moving from High Street, Lees to Appleby’s Business Centre, Grasscroft, Saddleworth OL4 4HH.
The firm opened its current head office in the old Nat West Bank Building in the village of Lees in February 2016. Husband and wife Lawyers James and Rebecca O’Donnell had no immediate plans for expansion and instead envisaged organic growth over the forthcoming years, however following its initial success, a second branch office (which will remain) was opened in the village of Uppermill in May 2016. Director and Head of Private Client, Residential Property and Contentious Probate Rebecca O’Donnell is based at the Uppermill branch and will continue to head this office, offering appointments at both offices and offering home visits to cater for client’s needs.
The firm now boasts of ten employees following its first year of trading including City Lawyer and head of the firms Family department, Anthony Jones. Now with three Directors and Heads of Department, two offices and an excellent team of professional support staff, O’Donnell Solicitors is ready for the next chapter. Being announced earlier this month as Winners of two categories (start-up business of the year and business of the year under £1 million) at this year’s Oldham Business Awards has given the firm notoriety as one of the region’s up and coming leading law firms.
James O’Donnell, Director, commented: ‘We could not have envisaged growth at the rate that we have experienced it and our success has, to date, been immense. My wife Rebecca and I and the team here have worked extremely hard to deliver a new type of law firm. We put it down to our desire to deliver expert legal advice in an environment in which clients feel relaxed and comfortable. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide expert, technical, yet straight-talking legal advice and this has meant not only a retention of clients but a client base which has grown exceptionally within our first twelve to eighteen months of trading’.

The offices will offer superb facilities for clients including on-site parking facilities, making client visits much more accessible. This is an exciting new move for the firm and the Directors and staff are extremely proud and excited about this new phase. The same contemporary style of space will be afforded to our clients but on a grander scale’.
Directors James O’Donnell and Anthony Jones will be based at the new Appleby Business Centre together with their existing support staff. The firms Family Law Team together with its commercial/corporate/litigation and property teams will be based there offering easy access to both the firms individual and business clients.
