Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner

This role will suit a qualified Solicitor, legal executive or Conveyancer with around three years PQE and a proven track record of handling a busy residential property case load with a varied case load of purchases, sales, re-mortgages, transfer of equity, land matters in both freehold, leasehold titles for both registered and unregistered property.

You must also be willing to network, and prepared to nurture and build local connections.

Salary:                   Negotiable depending upon experience

Reports to:          Head of Department/Directors

Job Purpose:      To manage own case load of transactional residential property files and further build and develop the caseload and relationships.

Key Responsibilities

To assist and build own case load in a thriving residential property department taking instructions on new enquiries and providing advice and handling cases autonomously and as part of a team,

To build relationships with clients and internal and external contacts on behalf of the Team.

To use initiative to prepare contracts, correspondence and legal documents using Case Management.

Essential skills and qualifications

Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Experienced Conveyancer

Strong academic record.

The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Excellent IT skills.

Excellent organisation, presentation and communication skills.

To have good connections and a desire to network.

Personal attributes

Be reliable and diligent with good attention to detail.

Self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Good interpersonal skills.

A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment.
